Capital One Spark Business reviews.

Capital One Spark Business Credit Card Reviews. Capital One offers five different credit cards in their Spark family business card, including two cash back cards included in this review.

These cards are designed for people with very good credit:

  1. Capital One® Spark® Cash for Business: 2% cash back, annual fee of $95 (released first year)
  2. Capital One® Spark® Cash Select for Business: 1.5% cash back, no annual fees, 0% APR intro for purchases for 9 months (with 15.24% -23.24% APR regular variables after that)
These are general cash back cards, which means they don't have a category of expenses to worry about. Instead, they give the same gift wherever you shop or what you buy.

Spark Cash offers a higher cash refund rate and also has an annual fee. But if you plan to spend more than $19,000 each year with that, it will be a more profitable choice than both. If you won't spend that much per year, Spark Cash Select will eventually give you more money back.

Both of these cards report your activities to a business credit bureau, which means they can help you build your business credit. This is unlike many other business credit cards.

Why do we like this card

We provide Spark Cash cards and Spark Cash Select 5 out of 5 Stars. They are a good option for business owners to get refunds from purchases in general, rather than certain categories.
  1. They are cheap to use. Spark Cash Select does not have annual fees, while Spark Cash is only $95 (released first year). And you can offset that cost by spending only $4,750 per year with a card.
  2. You will get a competitive cash back with each card, given the cost structure.
  3. Both cards have a pretty good registration bonus to spend in the first 3 months, and Spark Cash has an additional 6 month bonus.
  4. These cards are available at Visa Signature level. It comes with enhanced benefits compared to most cards, such as discounts and free services when traveling.
  5. Capital One provides a series of feasible business-related benefits with these cards. That includes spending and account management tools.
  6. You can get unlimited number of employee cards without fees.
  7. Capital One business card reports the activities of the three business credit bureaus. So these cards are a good option if you want to increase your business credit.

Why can this card be better

  1. You will not get a ton of money back with these cards, compared to some other business credit cards.
  2. There are some valuable features, but nothing is written at home.

  1. Use these cards to get money back on every purchase, whatever you buy. You don't need to worry about the bonus prize category, and which card to use.
  2. Be sure to get a registration bonus, whatever card you use. You can get it by spending a certain amount in the first 3 months. Spark Cash requires $4,500 to be spent in the first 3 months, which will give you $500 cash back. Spark Cash Select requires you to spend $3,000 and will give $200 money back.
  3. You may only need one of these cards at once. We have calculated that if you spend more than $19,000 per year, Spark Cash will be more profitable than Spark Cash Select. If not, consider choosing Spark Cash Select, which will ultimately give you more money back.
